Activity and Compliance

It is the responsibility of the FC to know which Beamlines are in use during a particular shift. They are responsible for recording this information and maintaining a knowledge of who is on the experimental floor at what time.

In addition to this they are also responsible for verifying that:

·  a valid and complete permit is displayed at every Beamline in use as requested by the CNSC.

·  the appropriate Users training (BSO, HSO, WHMIS, Lab Safety) and the safety information (MSDS) are displayed at the Beamline’s Health and Safety Information Centers, as well as in the laboratories.
